Over 1/3 of the population of Sammamish are under 18 years old. We need to partner with the Boys & Girls Club and the YMCA to develop places where our children can gather in a safe environment.

Our seniors need a place to get together in Sammamish. The Metro system support in Sammamish is confusing and the schedule is lacking in our support to the Redmond and Issaquah Senior Centers. A multi-use facility in Sammamish will better fit the needs of our citizens.

Cost over runs are hurting our city.  Our Commons area is an example of this problem.  A project that started at approximately $17 million that now costs almost $30 million.

We must ensure our employee positions are where we need them to support our citizens. Also, with the projected development of the Sammamish City Center we have to project new hire employees and get these positions into future budgets.

It is a nice addition to the city. But it does not support the majority of our youth. We must develop more facilities that all of our youth can share and enjoy in a safe environment.
